Welcome to another exciting season in the Sharpshooter Dart League…I wasn’t able to get an exact date but according to Joe Konupka (if we can still trust his memory) the league was established sometime in the 1960’s, so we are in season 45 or so!!!
The 2013-14 season schedule was sent in the previous email. A copy of the schedule is available on our website http://sharpshooterdarts.weebly.com/ and on facebook.
Notes from the 8-7-13 meeting:
All teams were present.
The season will start on Wednesday September 11th, 2013, I need a copy of each teams roster immediately!!!
Attached is the latest copy of the league rules, the only change pertains to the structure of the playoffs since there will be no divisions this year.
There will be 9 teams, therefore the league will not be split into divisions.
The playoffs will consist of 8 teams and each team will be seeded 1-8…the 9th place team will not make the playoffs.
The home team will still be responsible to supply 3 brand new darts as well as a choice of either a drink chip or food for each player of the opposing team.
We are still awaiting the treasury report (Vickie please forward this to me ASAP) to determine the fee for each individual player (it was $5 last year). The bar fee is still $120, $60 is due before the first match on September 11, 2013 and the remaining $60 is due at the half time meeting on November 14th, 2013. A check can be made out to “Sharpshooter Dart League”, please forward the checks to one of the officers as soon as possible.
The half time meeting will be at the West Fairview Legion at 7pm on Thursday November 14th, 2013, team rosters must be finalized by the end of this meeting.

The Marysville Mudrats have moved to the Enola Sportsmen’s Association.
I will send a copy of the latest excel score sheet as soon as it is forwarded to me.

2014-15 – West Fairview Hump Dawgs
2015-16 – Hummelstown 2
2016-17 – Trindle Inn Honey Badgers
2017-18 – West Fairview WETSU
2018-19 – Enola Sportsmen’s Ridge Runners
2020-21 – Reliance Cockroaches
2021-22 – Hummelstown Buddies
2022-13 – Maennerchor Maniacs
Please verify that this is correct (I may have WETSU, Ridge Runners and Cockroaches mixed up)…there has been discussion to move the new teams to the end of the list based on the year their team was established. This would move Hummelstown 2 behind Hummelstown Buddies and Trindle Inn Honey Badgers behind Maennerchor Maniacs.
